It is a severe type of vomitting of pregnancy  which has got deleterious effect on the health of mother and /or  incapacitates  her in day to day activities .

•Adverse effects of severe vomitting are

•Dehydration , wt loss 

•Metabolic acidosis ,alkalosis

Electrolyte imbalance (hypokalemia )
